We also handle numerous estates where we are appointed as authorised representative of the Executor. This means that while a will may stipulate that the deceased’s wife/husband be the Executor of the estate, in accordance with the Power of Attorney we then do all the work on behalf of the surviving spouse. The entire process is of course controlled by the Master of the Supreme Court and we report to him. Should a person die without a will, we can assist the heir/s to appoint an executor through the Master.
